RDA Standard Brake Disc Rotor

RDAs comprehensive range is not limited to just recently released vehicles, but also includes applications for many older vehicles dating

back to the 1950s as well as many privately imported vehicles. RDA have over 2100 vehicle applications in our range, covering everything

from Alfa to Volvo.

RDA Directionally Slotted Brake Rotor

Rotors & Drums Australia (RDA) offers the largest range of directionally slotted brake
rotors available in Australia.

RDA slotted rotors provide a cost effective solution to improve the stopping performance
of any make or model of motor vehicle with the following engineered characteristics

  • Increased dissipation of water, dust and road grime from the contact area of your
    braking system.
  • Improved integrity of the pad and rotor surface, through deglazing of the contact area.
  • Directional slotting surface also combats “out-gassing” which is caused by gas from the
    brake pad bonding agent forming a cushion between your pad and rotor and
    thereby reducing pad “bite”.

RDA Disc Brake Pads:

RDA range of brake pads encompasses some 1,700 applications in 7 different performance materials

RDA Disc Brake Pads offer a highly sought after combination of value for money and excellent operating performance. Released onto

the Australian market in early 2004, the RDA brake pad range is the result of exhaustive test program Australia wide under many and

varied operating conditions. RDA Disc Brake Pads deliver improved safety with enhanced braking performance for a wide range of road

The materials used is asbestos free and comes in either non organic or semi metallic compounds depending on the make and model of vehicle.

EBC Ultimax:

 EBC Ultimax 90 is a Kevlar material compound pad designed for road going vehicles manufactured to exceed European standards and deliver

low rotor wear, minimal dust and stop you faster. Quality OEM Replacement Brake pad (Euro Reg 90 brake safety approved)
The EBC Ultimax brake pad is available for all makes and models of sedans, 4 wheel drives and light commercial vehicles.
The new friction material completely eliminates brake judder and produces a high friction, long lasting brake pad all pads feature a centre

line slot which prevents heat expansion cracks and reduces brake noise. Ultimax brake pads are manufactured in the UK by EBC, the worlds

largest brake pad manufacturer.  Tens of millions of sets of Ultimax are sold worldwide.

 

EBC Greens Stuff:

Green Stuff Designed for premium street driving offering better brake effect up to 600°C (1100°F). EBC Greenstuff has a high initial brake effect

and gives drivers confidence from first application of the brake pedal. There is no such thing as a NO DUST pad. The very nature of how a brake

works requires that some dust be generated to avoid rotor vibration (shimmying). The EBC pad creates less dust and dust is more easily washed

off than most. All pads create more dust as they are bedding in especially if rotors are worn. Nominal friction coefficient 0.55. For heavier faster

cars and vehicles above 200bhp we strongly recommend Redstuff which DOES offer much less dust

 

EBC Red Stuff:

High Performance LOWEST DUST Rating pads for prestige imports and faster street driving

There are TWO reasons our customers love Redstuff, First because they are the lowest dust pad we have encountered by reducing dust by 60-90%.

Plus the minimal dust you see is very easily removed with a simple sponge wash as it contains no steel fibre particles as in ALL OTHER pads.

Second they brake like an alligator right from cold (as good as Original pads or better) and just get better as they heat up.
This material is a Kevlar® fibre based brake compound enhanced with ceramic particles. If you have previously tried EBC redstuff (pre-ceramic

compound) this material is light years ahead. It lasts longer, it brakes better and is quieter..

Being a hard wearing pad, bed-in times can be as long as 1000 miles and drivers must be patient until the pad takes up the shape of their disc (brake rotor).

This is a truly impressive fast road pad for repeated heavy braking. It emits far less dust than semi-metallic pads and has been proven to stop a

 passenger car/sedan/sport compact/hot hatch 13 metres quicker than OEM pads from 100mph/160kph. Features EBC Brake-In surface coating

which conditions rotor surface and accelerates pad bed-in. Nominal friction coefficient 0.5 with approx. 50% dust reduction

 

 

EBC Yellow Stuff:

Ultra High Friction Pads for Race Track Day. EBC Yellowstuff is an aramid fibre based brake compound with high brake effect form cold and is possibly

one of the first ever compounds that can be used for STREET AND TRACK DRIVING. These pads do not require warm up but do get even stronger under

 the heat of hard driving. These are not a low dust pad and if your desire is for a low dust premium street use pad, you should consider EBC Redstuff.

EBC Yellowstuff is currently produced in two compound versions - DM1846 and DM1793, both of which have been used with some success in racing.

HOWEVER, for standard OEM brakes, as fitted to your car, there is no doubt that the DM1793 is getting better feedback, as it is slightly harder,

slightly longer lasting and more appropriate for track day driving

When considering full race use, DM1793 has also been a strong favourite, having been used for two years in the Swedish Camaro Cup and at numerous

other race events where a stock caliper system is fitted. If using a high efficiency aftermarket race calipers with 4, 6 or 8 piston set ups, the sheer

efficiency might allow the use of 1846 compound. DM1846 is currently the choice of the majority of GT3 drivers which are pretty serious competitors.

 

EBC Blue Stuff:

EBC Bluestuff is the longest lasting of the EBC brake pad materials family and is designed for heavier and faster sedans/passenger cars/muscle

cars in track use.Bluestuff has a nominal friction coefficient of 0.40, good temperature stability up to 750°C (1300°F) and higher, with significant

 lifetime making it capable of withstanding 3-5 hour duration races. Bluestuff material has been used successfully on larger Porsche cars in racing

 and such as the Emotional Engineering Monaro competing in the British GT Championships and FIA GT World Championships.The material has

 also found great success being used on the Drivers Dream days which includes Ferrari cars, Subaru and Lamborghini.

H12: Circuit Race H12 is a premium performance, Race and Rally brake pad. With intermediate to high friction levels and offers extremely

high levels of feel and release and is capable of operating at temps up to 800°c

 

H14 Circuit Race: A medium to high friction pad designed as for competition on medium sizes cars. Also ideal as a rear pad in tarmac and

gravel rally

 

H16-03 Circuit Race: This is a ‘competition-only‘ pad designed to offer the very best performance in torque, feel, fade resistance and release.

Used in V8, Rally, Targa etc.

SCR Pure PLus 6 : This is a slotted version of the SCR Pure Plus disc. It is designed primarily for high performance street driving, but offers

all the advantages of slots. These slots are directional and are designed for low noise which is suitable for your road car.

 

SCR: The SCR disc is designed to be a cross over from high performance street to track. It is made from high carbon cast iron and has a better

 ability to pump air and therefore cool quicker. The vane design allows large volumes of air to pass through offering more stable disc performance

at higher temperatures.

 

SCR Pro: The premium disc in the Project Mu range, the SCR-Pro incorporates all features you will find in a race disc – packaged to fit

onto standard cars. The cast iron has very high levels of carbon, 8 straight slots and an advanced core vane design resulting in very

 high heat transfer qualities

Complete Brake Upgrade Kits

Complete car set of brakes with all necessary components for easy fitment. The ultimate high performance brake upgrade package

is the complete car kit. This gives you a brake kit which is designed to ensure you don’t need to modify your standard car at all!

This means that when you sell the car, this kit will come off and your standard package will bolt straight back on! Using Alcon

calipers and discs, this package represents the best in performance brake upgrades available on the market anywhere.

Supercar Spec Mono6 (378mm disc) or Racer Spec Mono6 (365mm disc)

 

Complete front brake kits using Alcons awesome Mono6 calipers come in two specifications – 365mm disc – the Racer Spec, or

mammoth 378mm disc – Supercar Spec. High performance road pads as well as all parts necessary for fitment are included in the kits.

 

Club Spec Mono4 (335mm disc)

Mono4 calipers are used in the Club Spec kits which uses a 335mm disc. This kit is designed to fit under 17” wheels but also looks the

part when fitted under 19’s and offers a massive performance jump from standard.

Rear Spec Car 36, 4 piston (335mm disc)

Complete rear brake kits are available using Alcons 4 piston caliper and 335mm discs. PWR produced handbrake drum assembly makes

this another ‘bolt on’ kit. If you are fitting this kit to a ute, we can specify smaller piston sizes to compensate for weight distribution

differences.

 

Alcon Calipers

 

Mono6 Caliper

Top of Alcon's caliper range is the Mono6, a gravity die-cast aluminum monobloc 6-piston caliper, evolved from Alcon's hugely successful

6-pot racing designs. This is the leader in road sport caliper technology, featuring a lightweight, compact body with increased stiffness

and rigidity. This caliper comes in three body types depending on the disc thickness used (28, 32 or up to a 381x36mm! – larger than V8

 Supercars). Also featured are integral pad retaining pins for superior pad mounting (reduced stiction) as well as high temperature piston

seals and in-bore dust seals. Pistons are differentially sized to improve pad wear characteristics. These calipers are also radial mount

construction to allow ease of fitment to any application.

 

Mono4 Caliper

Alcon’s 4-piston monobloc option incorporates all the Mono6 features including integral pad retaining pins for superior pad mounting,

 lightweight compact body, high temperature piston seals and in-bore dust seals. This caliper has a slightly smaller pad area than Mono6

 and pistons sizes are also differentially sized. This caliper is available in two disc thickness options – 28 or 32mm. Also finished in striking

silver with blue Alcon logo.

Car36 Caliper

Also now available in Australia is Alcon’s two-piece 4-piston caliper – the Car36. Available in varying piston and disc thickness configurations

making this caliper suitable for front applications on smaller cars, also making them perfect for rear installation on large sedans down to the

rear of an Aussie Ute! This caliper also features high temperature piston and in-bore dust seals. Pad shape is common making compound

selection simple.

Complete Brake Upgrade Kits

 

 Caliper Upgrade Kits

Alcon ‘Caliper Upgrade Kits’ are also available. This allows you to retain the standard disc and fit either the Mono4 or Mono6 caliper fitted

with high performance pads. This gives a large performance gain and increased pedal feel and looks great at a budget price. Once again,

this package is bolt on so you can re-fit the standard calipers when selling the car.

 

Alcon Disc Rotors

Alcon discs are made from Alcon’s own cast iron formulation in the UK. These are the same disc castings and ‘Crescent’ shape groove

pattern that Alcon has produced and developed for racing in such Motorsport categories as Japanese GT, Australian V8 Supercars, World

Rally, IRL and Champ Cars. Cooling is via 48 curved directional vanes giving disc stability beyond any other disc available. Alcon discs offer

 exceptional performance and wear characteristics whilst giving that ‘race bred’ look.

 

PWR rotor hats & caliper mount brackets

PWR Performance Products design and manufacture all ancillary components such as rotor hats and caliper mounting brackets.

Our state-of-the-art CNC facility manufactures the parts, which are then anodized for durability and appearance reasons. All products

is manufactured from high grade 7075 billet aluminium for strength and quality.
